In addition to university scholarships 和 financial aid, the College of Liberal 艺术 offers more than 100 college 和 departmental awards 和 scholarships. 

的 following are just a few of the scholarships available to College of Liberal 艺术 students. 

  • 的 Donald Parsons Endowed Scholarship is awarded to an outst和ing College of Liberal 艺术 student in any year who demonstrates financial need.
  • 的 Ellen Stover Northup Award in International Studies is a need-based scholarship awarded to outst和ing College of Liberal 艺术 students to assist with the costs of studying abroad for one semester, with preference given to students studying abroad for the first time.
  • 的 詹姆斯·H. Glackin Scholarship is a need-based scholarship for first-year students who exhibit academic achievement in the College of Liberal 艺术.
  • 的 简D. Mackler Scholarship is awarded to first-year, sophomore 和 junior students who demonstrate academic achievement 和 financial need.
  • 的 Marie Rittenhouse Masters Scholarship is awarded to College of Liberal 艺术 students who graduated from the Philadelphia public school system 和 demonstrate academic achievement.
  • 的 Nadia Kravchenko Award is given to a nontraditional College of Liberal 艺术 student pursuing his or her bachelor’s degree.

奖学金 available to undergraduate students in the Gender, 性 和 Women's Studies BA program include the following opportunities.

  • 的 Audre Lorde Prize was established by Sonia Sanchez, professor of English 和 Gender, 性 和 Women’s Studies. This award is given to a graduating senior in Gender, 性 和 Women’s Studies who best exemplifies the activism 和 achievements of black lesbian feminist writer 和 teacher Audre Lorde.
  • 的 Barbara Brownstein Prize in Gender, 性 和 Women’s Studies is given in honor Barbara Brownstein, 前教务长, professor of biology, 和 director of the Women’s Studies program. It is awarded to a graduating senior 和 Gender, 性 和 Women's Studies major in recognition of leadership 和 academic excellence.
  • 的 Certificate of Excellence in Women's Studies is awarded to a Gender, 性 和 Women’s Studies student who performs community service as an activist in the health 和 social work professions, maintains academic excellence, 和 has been employed while studying at Temple University.
  • 的 Sonia Sanchez Scholarship was established by the Gender, 性, 和 Women’s Studies program to honor Sonia Sanchez’s contributions 和 achievements. 的 scholarship is awarded to a Temple student whose engagement 和 activism with women’s lives, the struggles 和 triumphs of people of color, or global 和 humanist themes demonstrates the potential to make a significant contribution to social justice 和 the arts.
